When was borderlands 2 announced
Where's Duke Nukem Forever? Re: Score: 2. In development at a different company. Possibly in the "To do" list right after left 4 dead 3 through 7. Valve doesn't know what a 3 is, the next game they make will probably be DOTA2.
Re: Score: 1. Spoiler, don't read this Score: 3 , Funny. Share twitter facebook. There's a lot of truth to this. It's a trade-driven press -- not a news-driven press -- and I'm always happy to see a publication stop acting like a serf and break form. The challenge is going to be getting publishers and developers to accept that they need to be covered like any other industry -- and getting more pubs to behave like journalists.

To me it's a shame this crap gets made and we still haven't seen Bionic Commando's sequel. You forgot: Shallow and pedantic. Insists upon itself. MGS4 Score: 2.
You can skip those scenes too. Don't forget the artwork Score: 2. DOS writes:. You clearly didn't play it. That's why it doesn't make sense to you. Go play it. You know, the key elements of an RPG. Hope they improve it Score: 2. I was not a big fan of the respawning, or randomness of much of the game.
I would have like a lot more scripting, and more interesting opponents. No, it felt like a primarily multiplayer game, which it was. There are a lot of numbers between "one" and "many.
The respawn worked well for that, and was a lot less annoying than the "revert to last save" most single player shooters go with. You only lost money and ammo, which both were handed out like candy on haloween anyway. I think it worked well. I'm not quite sure what you mean there. Random unique weapon drops with tons of different.
Around here, we call that an RPG. It was clever and made for a really fun game. Also, if you're not going to make it, your friends can come over and revive you. All this makes you wade in hip deep into the mayhem. Score: 1. Not surprised Score: 1.
PC gamers want real options Score: 2. I just logged out of borderlands online play to see this, so it is a good surprise. One thing I hope they do is realize the PC version can be much better than the console versions. The pc version was defaulting to directx 9 mode with none of the special goodies the unreal engine can do in DX10 mode. Luckily someone figured out how to edit the config files to remove the console feel and make it look like a real modern game for the most part.
I hope for their next game they put full detail options into the op. Maybe this time I cannot possibly agree with you more. Even when you got it to work it ran like complete shit. We have good internet out in these parts and this game was horrible. It had shamefully bad lagging for 2 people playing together with extremely low latency connections. We ended up having to use a program called Game Ranger and suddenly everything was wonderful.
Hardly any lag at all. Gamespy sucks really bad. I'm still irritated I had to put up with that for so long before we finally found the hack way Gam. Games Journalism Score: 2. It merits attention particularly because it IS such a typical example of "journalists" being punished for doing journalism.
Treating unprofessional conduct like that as okay simply because it happens so often only ensures it continues, and that people who are supposed to be giving us accurate information about videogames are going to continue to be relegated to being part of the marketing machine.
Granted, if you can only handle getting annoyed at one failure of journalism, it's more important to focus o. I'm excited It took me two hours to "Fix" this game. It's incredible how they can release a console port as bad as that one. It should be illegal. Yeah, maybe when it's stupid cheap. The first game had too many stupid problems and oversights. Yea, they have a great formula, with a couple of tweaks and some slight improvements it could be amazing. Yeah, one skill per class was just ridiculous.
And the skill trees were practically identical. Completely uninspired. The general skill modifiers were similar, but what they let you do were pretty different. With Mordecai hunter , you could make him a badass pistol guy or a super sniper, and you could use the bird to be your personal healer, an attack dealer, or to make phat loot drop. With Lilith siren , you could have super SMG powers, or you could have incredible melee attacks.
You could basically completely change the use of your character depending on how you utilized the skills. I don't think the skill trees are nearly as identical as you think. I just mean it seemed like most of the skills were generic stat modifiers that had the same overall effect. The overall effects of the skills seemed very generic. Then again its been awhile since I've played. That being said, I still enjoyed the game, I just didn't care at all about leveling up.
I just remember it being very anticlimactic. I suppose that is the case for most stats, yes, but that's par for the course for RPG elements in any game. There were still a lot of interesting skills like Tresspass, Out for Blood, Stockpile, Supply Drop, etc that gave you new abilities and weren't just basic stat modifiers.
Those filler skills aren't so annoying though when there is more than one active ability. Not so great when there is only one boring one per class. If you looked at the first tier only, sure. You can't make your first talent point worth an insane amount, or people would have no reason to specialize in one tree.
Meaning i want to be able to plow through shit easily when i find an awesome gun, then as i level into my super awesome gun and get too attached to drop it start doing progressively worse until i pick up another awesome gun.
