Why prophecies dont come to pass

Sometimes prophetic words carry specific directives for us to walk-out Ex. Other times we hear from God but we need to pray further to identify any specific steps God is asking us to take toward fulfillment. In either case, there is a factor of human responsibility that needs to be fulfilled in order to see some words of the Lord materialize.

Timing is off. One of the most difficult things to discern in the prophetic is timing. False word. I hate to say it. But it needs to be said.

Many believers are carrying false words or only partially accurate prophetic words. This happens largely because in the prophetic movement we have not emphasized and trained people in the practice of testing prophecy. At the end of the day, it really does boil down to this: There is a war over the prophetic word over your life. Sometimes that war comes from the wicked one.

Sometimes that war comes from our own carnal nature that wars against the Spirit Gal. Either way—and whether in Scripture or via prophecy judged accurate—we must fight the good fight of faith so we can walk in the fullness of God's promises. But it can also apply to prophecies that come straight from His heart.

This is the one who received seed beside the path" Matt. It's important you understand exactly what God is saying prophetically. Many people miss it on the interpretation or application, especially in the dream realm. Of course, some prophecies are hard to misinterpret, especially ones about having babies or operating in some spiritual gift. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, eventually he falls away" Matt.

Immature Christians need help walking out a prophetic word. Even when a mature Christian is hit with tribulation and persecution over a life-changing prophecy, they need strong friends to encourage them to keep standing. Don't try to walk it out alone. The enemy works often with distractions. He doesn't care if you chase a good thing, as long as it's not the God thing.

How is this possible with so many men and women in the modern church say they had the gift of prophecy? Well, prophecies do fail. And I have three insights on why it happens. Let me explain. A true prophet speaks the mind of God. The Bible teaches us that God is not a man and cannot lie. Any man or woman of God speaking a prophecy from Father Yah must be true.

And if it is true, it must come to pass. God hastens to perform his word. What does this mean? A true prophet of God delivers a specific message to an individual or a group of people. For example, Moses gave Pharaoh a prophecy. In or BC, the Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem. The Angel Gabriel gave Mary a prophecy.

Angel Gabriel says the son will:. The key here is that each of these prophecies was specific. Why does this matter? Many self-proclaimed prophets in the Christian church give believers general prophecies that apply to anyone.
