The place does look nice and has some very amazing spots for walking, picnics and other outdoorsy activities. The negative is the distance to Broadbeach etc. And now the real negative - the residents. Despite its aesthetics, I could easily compare Coomera residents to Salisbury and Elizabeth in Adelaide. It is not uncommon to see, in some parts, dumped stolen cars, bogans hooning at roundabouts, or tuning engines in their garages whilst revving them to the max.

I do not regret buying my place here since it will be a good investment property, but no way I would stay to live here. I am moving about there from Mawson Lakes, SA soon. Sorry this was your first impression of Queensland. If work isn't a problem there are plenty of beautiful beach towns north of the Gold Coast. One city that I live about 30 minutes away from is Hervey Bay. It's a cheap, growing beach city with everything you need.
